About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in social work, licensed in Illinois and Colorado. I have post-graduate training in Sex Therapy from University of Michigan (2016-18). As a sex therapist, I'm finalizing my certification hours. My current supervisor is Dr. Neil Cannon, sexologist, researcher, therapist, and faculty member. I regularly consult with peer therapists who work in similar fields to ensure I'm continually doing work to provide well-informed care.

Why Work With Me?

When providing therapy, I am warm, engaged, curious, and non-judgmental. I will help you sort out and understand your feelings, fears, habits, anxieties, and thought patterns, and give you space to test out sharing the most private, upsetting, and secret parts of yourself.

Therapy Style

I draw from a variety of methods and practices.  Some favorites are: attachment-based, Internal Family Systems, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), feminist (recognizing the harmful impact of gender oppression on all genders, men too!),  "Good Enough Sex" model, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative techniques, and anti-oppressive practices.

About Me

I am a Master’s candidate in Social Work at the University of Denver, focusing on family systems and individual counseling. My other social work passions include restorative justice and environmental justice. Originally from Oklahoma City, I received my bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

Why Work With Me?

I believe that sex is an excellent tool for connection and intimacy, and that for many it is also an exciting creative outlet. As a sex therapist, I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to share their experiences and concerns. I hope to work with you to address your concerns and improve the quality of your intimate relationships.

Therapy Style

I use a relational and integrated approach to facilitate insightful therapy sessions. My approach integrates aspects of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Feminist Therapy (recognizing the harmful impact of gender oppression on all genders). In my practice, I endorse the Health at Every Size model and am passionate about challenging both external and internalized weight stigma and anti-fat bias. I am committed to anti-oppressive practice and recognizing the intersections of oppression, privilege, and power dynamics in individuals, relationships, and systems.
